Phoebe’s intuition and ability to relax the body bring a truly unique healing experience to her clients. In 2004, she attained her initial massage therapist license and became a certified Medical Massage Practitioner in 2006. Modalities such as trigger point therapy, myofascial release, neuromuscular re-education, active release technique (ART), reflexology, sports massage, prenatal massage, and lymphatic drainage also add to her experience.
Prior to entering the massage field, Phoebe spent over 10 years in the health care industry, including dentistry and nursing. She has over 600 hours of hands on care in several area hospitals, as well as interning in an intensive care unit. It was during nursing school, however, when she had a change of heart and ultimately opted for massage therapy's more holistic approach to healing. It has since proved to be a very rewarding career. It was, in fact, only four sessions with an experienced therapist that healed Phoebe's own chronic low back pain, incurred during years of ballet training.
Phoebe's passion is to provide clients with detailed, customized sessions with results that will last. She commonly recommends rehab and take-home exercises, as well as nutritional insights to better improve overall health of her clients. Her goal is to spread the powerful effectiveness of bodywork to others, including other healthcare providers, and strives to create balance inside and out. She continues to grow her knowledge base through continuing education classes and works with other licensed professionals to give her clients the best information and service possible.
